Vertex Care™ — Accidental Damage Service Contract Last updated: 26 June 2025 1. Parties This Service Contract (“Agreement”) is made between Vertex Sky Sports Ltd, 30 Stevens Close, Cottenham, CB24 8TT, United Kingdom (“Vertex”, “we”, “us”) and the original purchaser identified on the order confirmation (“you”). 2. Definitions Term Meaning ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Product The custom-tailored skydiving garment purchased from Vertex (full suit, two-piece suit, bootie trousers, camera jacket or shorts etc). Plan The accidental-damage protection purchased under this Agreement. Term The period selected at checkout – 12 months or 24 months – starting on the Product’s original ship date. Accidental Damage Sudden and unexpected physical damage arising from a single identifiable event that renders the Product unsafe, unserviceable or not fit for its intended purpose. Manufacturing-Defect Warranty The automatic, free 12-month guarantee provided under the U.K. Consumer Rights Act 2015. 3. Scope of Cover 3.1 The Plan covers one (1) valid Accidental-Damage claim to the Product during the Term. We will remake the same model to the same specifications and measurements. If changes are wanted to the design or sizing we will charge an additional fee. 3.2 Claims accepted under the Manufacturing-Defect Warranty do not count towards the single-claim allowance here. 3.3 The Plan must be purchased at the same time as the Product and is non-transferable. 4. Pricing Category Rate (per year, rounded ↑ £5) Full or two-piece suits 15 % of base price Accessories 20 % of base price Term multiplier 1 yr ×1 | 2 yrs ×2 Example: £285 full suit, 2-year Plan → 0.15 × £285 × 2 = £85.5 → £90. 5. How to Claim 5.1 Email info@vertexskysports.com within 14 days of the incident with clear photos of the damage. 5.2 After we have inspected the damage, ship the damaged Product to us at your cost. Mark the parcel “Return for repair – value £0” to avoid inbound duties. Failure to do this correctly may result in us rejecting the parcel at import. 5.3 We inspect; if approved we remake the Product and ship it back via DHL at our expense, subject to current lead times. 5.4 The replacement ends our agreement. 6. Exclusions • Cosmetic marks, fading or pilling that do not affect safety/performance. • Minor wear (e.g. Velcro fuzzing, broken popper). • Damage from burns, chemicals, solvents, mould or insects. • Damage while altered/repaired by anyone other than Vertex. • Loss, theft or deliberate damage. • Commercial use (e.g. rental, tandem student suits). 7. Limit of Liability Our total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. 8. Cancellation & Cooling-Off You may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund if no claim has been made. Email info@vertexskysports.com quoting your order number. After 14 days the Plan is non-refundable. 9. Data Protection Personal data is processed in line with UK GDPR. Claim photographs are stored securely for up to six years. 10. Legal Status & Governing Law This is a manufacturer’s service contract (not insurance) per FCA PERG 6.7.
